I believe the N75 is going to be a much better choice. I currently have a Black V3 that I have had since 7/15/05. I am starting to experience all the common problems that are associated with a RAZR, mysterious reboots, dust under the screen, suspect battery. It is a little over a year old and I have taken very good care of it. This should no be happening.

I have had both Nokias and Motos and I have to admit that Nokia is just a hands down better manufacturer. Plus the N75 is a smart phone where the MAXX is just a multimedia phone. Hold out for the N75 brotha.

Maybe your phones are, maybe they are not. Right now Cingular has not released much of anything. Verizon seems to be putting out nice phones, every other month. Does Samsung and LG have an exclusive for 3g phones or something. Adding a couple of Motorola's, SE's, or Nokia 3g's is needed badly. I mean, the CU500 is decent but give me a brake. The SE 810 is nice but right now Cingular is loosing the handset race. I mean look at how nicely balanced VZW's selection is. Chocolate, KRZR, LG 9900, Q, 3mp Samsung, and now the MAXX. It seems like every phone that Cingular has released is so 6 months ago. Hope this is not a sign of the future cause I want to buy something right now but there is nothing that catches my attention right now.

I hear you but the point I am trying to make is that they have "OPTIONS"! I would like to have more options. I know that the MAXX nor the VX9900 are out but they will be out shortly. Also, all phones have their shortcomings. I was steered clear away from the 2 3g phones b/c they dropped too many calls. What is on the horizon for us? Nada! By the time Cingular releases something, it will be obsolete and they will try to gouge us on the price (v3i). This is a race of sorts and they are loosing. They already lost the 3g battle, now the one bright spot they have with handsets is starting to go in that direction as well.

and don't forget verizon's big pimpin waterproof phone, i know all you cingyheads wish you had a tank like that 😛

🤣 i dont. i wanna stay away from customers with this phone. this it the phone that will make peopl think cell phones are unbreakable. i cant wait to hear some of the customer stories 🤤

I hav to agree with ygbhen. I like cingular just as much as you guys(maybe a lil less because some of these employees are cingular brown noses 😁 ) but their lineup is so slow to change. there is only 1 3g phone on the website, and its not amazing. What happened to all the marketing on the phones? The razr, the slvr, and the rokr were all marketed. I haven't seen anything but those stupid fewest dropped calls commercials.

I am leaning towards the N75 because I hear how people say Nokia makes great phones. In addition, it is a smartphone with lots of different applications. I just hope it comes out before mid january. (thats when winter break ends)

Have you checked out the E70 yet? I was looking at one of these and the N75. A customer purcased both online and came in with them to show me. If your thinking N75 you should deffinetly check this device out as well.

Just because you havent heard anything about phones coming out doesnt mean there are no phones coming down the pipes.
LG CU400. Most plp havent even seen this phone, and it is coming very soon. there are also other phone coming out too. We just have to be patient.

i think the name change wont be effective until jan.- feb. if its released before then it will be branded cingular. but from what our reps tell us feburary should be the latest. now stores are another thing.......he said that could take a little while longer before they rebrand stores. 🤨
