MobiTV....Anybody here uses it...will it work with the LG

Has anybody here used MobiTV. Is it similar to Cingular video? Which phone is best suited to work with it? I was thinking about adding unlimited Video on my sons account and just want to make sure i don't get a 500 dollar bill at the end of the month. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

it works amazingly on the CU500, just make sure you get the unlimited data plan for it.
The mobiTV is live tv, as opposed to clips of tv shows on Cingular Video.

Can mobibTV be downloaded off the web? Are there any other charges from mobiTV other than Cingulars unlimited plan? we are going to the cingular store this evening to get him a "3G" phone eventhough his 5 month old motorola works great.

It can be downloaded for free, but I believe it comes installed on the CU500. It's on mine, but I can't remember if I put it on there or not. If you're in a 3G area, the quality is really amazing.
The unlimited internet is needed to use mobiTV, but the mobiTV service is also $10 a month. If he's on the Media Max 200 plan with mobiTV you'd be looking at $30 a month. The Media Max 1000 plan with mobiTV would be $40 a month.
