...
What about Memphis TN?
...
new orleans was supposed to have had it with the initial 20 cities but katrina screwed that up... (i'm from ms gulf coast)...

...
What? When is Denver, CO going to be on that list?????????
...
I do not understand in the least bit why Northeast PA and Allentown have received 3G before Pittsburgh. Does anybody know what the hold up is?
...
Probably because they are smaller markets. This made them easier to integrate and upgrade to HSDPA.
...
Because you have the Steelers!!!! 😲
...
Ohhh, so Cingular's jealous? 😲
...
The Pittsburgh market has been fully integrated since a few short months after the acquisition. It was originally only served by AT&T so they moved quickly to integrate the towers into the Cingular network.
I would have thought they would have either upgraded the towers at the time of integration, or at least kept it near the top of the list.
It's seems odd...
...
believe it or not these areas are feature/data rich among all carriers.
atleast thats what i was told by one of the network guys.
...
Pittsburgh was once the most demanding market for wireless services in the nation, and I'm pretty sure that they still are high up on that list.
...
i bet they are. but i do know the philly - harrisburg markets are now in the front according to these network guys.
...
OK then. Back to a question I posted yesterday: if this is the case, that it IS available in the Phila. market, why is it that when I put in zip code 08053 (mine), and then click on the drop-down phone selector that says "video/3G", does it say that no phones are available for this area, as opposed to putting in 10001 (NYC), and it showing that the LG CU 500 is? I just noticed, there used to be 2 phones available in that market, this and a Samsung. Are they going backwards?
...
Go to your cingular store. They'll have them there. Same happens when I put a Miami zip. They are not loaded on cingular.com. I had to go to the store in order to play with the cu500.

Thanks for the reply. Now if they get some wide screen PDA type devices available, I'll be there. Anyone know when something "similar" to the 9300 or the Moto Q may actually be available from Cingular (with 3G?)
...
Thanks for the map. I appear to be JUST outside of the area (Evesham Township). Patience is a virtue...
