i've been wondering about this too, i dont think cingular and any other 3g provider are going to implement video calling until their 3g networks are fully established and all the minor tweaks and problems are fixed, they want to make sure that the 3g networks they spent billions on are gonna bring them a profit first before they implement video calling, i think it would take a year or two, even though that sounds pessimistic, i cant wait for that feature tho

The word is first quarter of 2007. That's when we'll will have video calling. It will be more like sharing video with someone while you talk to them. Let's say you're talking with your wife and all of a sudden you see a robbery taking place in front of you.... you activate the video camera and, voila! This is how it will be marketed. Video calling (face to face talking) FLOPPED in Europe so we are taking a different approach to the service. Will it be successful? time will tell...

Other than my exciting fascination with the 3g capabilities of this phone I am relatively disappointed with LG on this phone. But I'm looking forward to creepy old men telling stories of how they use this function... 🙄 yay!.
