Edge Speed v. WiFi

I like the new Nokia E62, but wish it had WiFi (the E61 does). My question is has anyone compared typical Edge speed with WiFi. Is the difference very noticeable in loading web pages?

remember dial up? lag-wise, EDGE is just as bad

A WiFi connecttion still must be connected to something to act as an internet connection. Below are some typical speeds to compare.

EDGE = 70-165 kbps

DSL = 350 kbps to 1500 kbps

Cable = 1500 kbps to 6000 kbps (or 1.5 to 6 Mbps)
