Cingular sim Cards

I accidentally bought a regular Cingular Sim card when I meant to buy a prepaid GO Sim card. Is it possible to use the regular Sim card for the prepaid service? Its a brand new Sim card. Any feedback would be great.

sim cards can be activated as postpaid or pre-paid. as long as you card was never activated you should be cool.
