Look forward to new SE devices. Sony is implementing a direct download to your phone feature on up coming handsets. As for windows only, i'm sure there is some way that can be resolved.

Currently SEs are running on EDGE speeds. Have you looked into other music stores? There are other sites like E-Music that you can download music from. I think the CU-500 has an HTML browser. If not just download opera mini and hit it up.

Okay Tyler, calm down a little bit.

I'm a mac user too. I also have an LG CU500. Here's how you deal with this situation.

Open your iTunes music library. If you're using AAC format, convert everything into MP3. If you have protected AACs on your computer (iTunes downloads), burn them to a CD, and then reimport them to your computer as an MP3.

Next, purchase a USB bluetooth adaptor if your computer doesn't already have bluetooth. They sell them on the Apple website for about $30.

Open up your Applications folder. Open the Utilities folder. Open the Bluetooth File Exchange program. Select the song you wish to transfer, and send it to your LG. If you cannot find the song file, select it in iTunes and then choose "Show song ...

From the reviews i've read on devices like the chocolate, it seems that verizons music store has influenced them in more negative fashions than positive. Take the crippled bluetooth for example. Sure Cingular has marketed their ringtones and such from the Cingular site but i don't believe that is as much of a money maker as song downloads are. I would fear that this influence would drive Cingular or AT&T to follow a similar route in the interest of higher revenue.

Then once you get them off limewire and on to your computer, bluetooth them to your phone using the method I described above. The bluetooth data connection is faster than your phone can download anything, and also does not incur any data charges.
