Should I switch to Cingular here in San Diego??

OK here is the situation. I currently go month to month with Tmobile here in San Diego. 600 minutes a month with 3 day weekends F, Sat, Sun for $39.99. Also I get 300 text messages for $2.99.

With Cingular I will only get 450 minutes a months for $39.99 and pay $4.99 for 200 text messages. On top of this there is the activation fee.

I currently use between 300 to 400 minutes a month.
I know Cingular has free mobile to mobile and rollover minutes. Is this enough of an advantage to switch, go with another carrier other than Cingular, or stay with Tmobile.
thanks

How many people do you know who have Cingular? If the answer is not many, then it doesn't really sound like Cingular has much more to offer you. The only other thing that may come into play is signal/coverage. Has the T-Mo coverage been ok for you?

Has T-Mobile been working for you? It doesn't sound like you have stated a reason to want to switch.

If there is a reason, let us know. Otherwise, I'd stick it out with T-Mobile because you can't beat those kind of rates.

We need to know your usage, then we can decide if switching would be better for you. The San Diego network is rock solid, you will notice an improvement by switching.

Not to mention, Cingular's phone selection is killer right now.

But without knowing how much text and minutes you actually use, we can't give you a good answer.

If you only use 300 minutes a month, then it won't matter whether you have 450 or 600.

I do expect my minute usage to go back up again in the future by the way.
As for text messenging I usually use around 200 or a little more.

Stick with T-Mobile you can't be their CS/ Network, cingular has lots of static and problems with texts they often don't go through.

Stop lying and giving out false information. I have not had any problems with static or text messages being delivered. Dude, I would use the 30 day trial to see if Cingular will work for you or not. Only then will you be able to determine if Cingular will work for you. You can moniter your minutes, text message, and network quality to see if it works for you.

My wife is in San Diego right now and has been traveling all over the county. I'm in Central Florida and we talk all the time. the only bad signal she's had was in a parking garage. Cingular is pretty solid !
