Media Packages
Reading from the Cingular forum on HOFO, I was unaware that Cingular offered something called Media Monster which is 3000 texts and unlimited data for 39.99 a month. When did they start doing that??

That media package (from my understanding) is only available in certain markets. I guess they are trying to see how it goes before officially launching it. So, far I think it's doing great. I would expect to see it available very soon..

I wanna say less than 2 weeks ago. they really started mixing it up too. there are blackberry packages that include txt. and alot more cool stuff. this 39.99 package is awesome. ive sold it to a couple of cu500 customers.

We've had those packages in the DFW market for at least a month because of consumer demand. We push data, and lots of people needed more texts, but there was no package for them. It was "Sorry, you can only have 1000 texts if you want unlimited internet." After we pushed and pushed our reps for about three months we got that package, as well as a text add on for all PDAs and Blackberrys. There's a PDA Max and BB max (both BES and BIS) that include 1000 texts for $10 more than the regular package.
