I'd like to see some better training passed down from corporate to agent stores. I know it's a little much to ask, but I've even ran into an agent sales rep who I had to correct about features on a phone. The guy thought that the v600 had video capture on it and had been telling people that when he sold the phone. I wonder how many folks got home and tried to take a video and started thinkin their phone was defective. If that's what they know about the phones themselves it doesn't make me terribly confident about more complicated things like rate plans and MEdia packages.

I'm a new customer but I've noticed a couple of things. Don't know if this is Cingular of Motorola but my v400 won't let me change the Cingular name to my name at the top of the screen or delete some of the sounds,pics,ss,wallpaper. Got my first bill and it is very vague as to the charges (online anyway). I was told not to go to Cingular by a few people because of there billing. I thought "hello?! Have you people ever been with another cellular company? They all make billing mistakes and have no 'complaint system'". If these are the only complaints I can come up with 2 years from now I'll consider myself lucky.

coming from a former cingular insider. i would have to say that cingular needs to train their reps better. sales and customer service. as far as the service is concerned. cingular also doesn't do a very good job of informing customers of upcoming changes to the network. cingular gives almost no notification of major company changes that may cause customer problems. but there were times that the customers new stuff before we did, which goes back to the training issue.

Cingular Wireless needs a huge Network improvement in New York. Especially in Suffolk County New York. I currently have a store location in which we are authorized dealer for Cingular Wirless. If I sold 20 Cingulars I would have 18 returns. This is no exageration. Cingular overall has a great program which includes rollover minutes in which no one else can offer and new handsets that are very eye apealing. But the bottom line is you can give a customer 10,000 minutes or 450 minutes it always comes down to you Coverage and Network. General feed back from our customer is that when they travel they have better cellular service that they do here in NY. How can you sell a product that lacks service.
