What is the sale that I keep hearing on the radio and on TV? They say it's the best sale ever. Does anyone know anything about it? The real question is will it drag me away from Verizon.

The commercial i just heard was buy one get one on any device. If you use VZW data and were interested in an 8525 that means you could two for one. In other words a $500+ device for FREE after rebate! I would almost say that any one interested in a nice phone for little cash and has a single line should buddy up with someone and split cost!

They haven't communicated anything to the agent locations, so don't expect any new prices. The wholesale cost of phones don't just magically become free, so unless that's a buy one get one 8525 after $450 mail-in rebate it's not gonna happen.

Trust me i listened very closely. The terms were BOGO free after rebate. The commercial said ANY phone in store including PDAs. It specificly mentioned PDAs. Other requirements were two year service agreement assuming this is act only but i'm not sure. This is going to happen.

I'm just saying that commercials don't matter. If somebody comes into my store and want's a BOGO on any phone, other than the four current BOGOs and barring a rebate for the full amount of a phone, it's not going to happen. They can throw a tantrum all day if they want to, I'm not going to lose money over a crazy marketing decision.

They did say it was a sale they have NEVER done before and it is only from 8-12 on Friday, how many people can really reasonably make that happen? I have to work.

Two years ago on the 24th i witnessed the Fredmeyers parking lot fill to capacity at 6:00am over a sock sale. People will make it happen.
