I'm hearing rumors of our comp plan changing on Jan 1... anyone got any info??

What I heard doesn't make sense, and would actually be pretty stupid so I want to confirm with someone else...

Well, I heard there is going to be more emphasis on features (and ratio).

Now if we sell 140% we hit excellence. In Jan, we'll have to hit certain feature ratio's to hit acheivers and excellence.

I didn't get alot of detail because we were busy.

I hope they don't change the comp plan, I have been very happy with the comp plan we have now.

Maybe you'll only be paid on features now. Wouldn't that be crazy

Things always change, but I'm not COR so it'll be fun to see how any change trickles down to the agent channels.

They've always been pushing features, and so have we. I know our stores are above COR in feature $ per opportunity so it'd be nice to see them performing up to our standards for a change.

Our minimum is $15. If it's anything below that you're written up.

our acc is lower, but honestly none of our employees have a problem hitting the $15 per opp. These things sell themselves if the customer gives you enough time to explain it to them.

You must achieve your new line goal to get excellence/achiever payouts, if you exceed your opps goal but not your new line goal, you will be paid on the target level

Considering $11 is Cingular's goal a write-up for less than $15 seems harsh. I prefer positive incentives, 25% comp on features and up to a $200 bonus for hitting above $13.50 per opportunity. I will raise the levels if everyone keeps exceeding the top goal as all sales goals are revised but it is a positive goal.

$20 is our goal.

I'm just saying, if everyone in my company can his $15 it's not an unattainable goal.

No, no, I agree that $15 is easy to hit. We lead West Texas and our stores are usually between $15 and $18 per opportunity. Disciplinary action for less than $15 just seemed harsh was all.
