MMS not working in Virginia
Does anyone know if / when the mms messaging will be fixed for Cingular? I have gone through the whole tech support game of being on the phone for 30 minutes to 45 minutes to troubleshoot the phone - twice, only to be raised to another level of phone support to be told it is a problem in the whole area. The regular media net works, text messaging works, but try to send a pic with mms and it will not go.

Aha! After searching several other forums, it seems the problem is only with certain phones, and those of us that came from Suncom, or from AT&T. If you go to the sonyericsson site (I have an SE z500a) www.sonyericsson.com and go to setup your phone for cingular mms. You have to choose Cingular, NOT "cingular (previous at&t)", and follow the directions. Cingular must have changed something recently, as it had been working for over a year, and suddenly stopped. Hmm...

Ah, yes. The problem is that Cingular, Verizon, Sprint, Altel, Nextel, etc., well, they all suck. OH, and Comcast cable network, dish network, etc.
