3125 internet question
I am going to post this here also, cause I know this forum gets alot more traffic than individual phone ones...
Just got this phone, and I have the smartphone untimited data package. I am trying to go to espn.com, and it keeps telling me that there are errors on the page and it won't load. Any suggestions?? Thanks is advance for any replies.

It's windows what do you expect? JK. Try and download opera mini browser 3.0 to your phone. Go to mini.opera.com from your phones browser and it will download it. You can later find it under your midlet manager. The opera browser is 100% better than the crappy internet explorer. Now, if you can't use the internet at all on the phone then there may be an issue warranting a different approach.

thats the devce itself. there was an issue a week the page was too large too load even on the 8125 that what the error 404 is incase you got that. but if its still not working thats your device because on the 3125 demo we have espn works great. we know this because we always use it to check the lines (if you know what i mean 👀 )

Ah, I know what you mean 👀 , and lines are very important to me, how and where do I get these on my phone. I don't get an error 404, it goes to the ESPN home page, then when I click on College BB, NBA, etc, it says alert, this page contains errors and can not be displayed. Another thing that is important to me is a site where lets say I am watching a game, I would like to have the score update automatically, not when I push refresh. Is this possile with this phone/Cingular? I am a formere Moble ESPN customer, and I fell is love with the auto refresh thing. Thanks in advance for any help!

for some odd reason i could never get the auto refresh thing to work but once and that was on the 8125 (one time only) aside from that it wasnt 30 seconds like i set it either. i would suggest you try another 3125 or pda. i'm using my 807 today so i cant test it out for ya right now. but try to pull it up on another smartphone/pda. i will tomorrow. i think what might be happening is the servers that the 3125 use's to condense and reformat the 3125 web pages arent resizing the page correctly or that server feels espn and the lines 👀 are a serious threat to your 3125's safty.

Hey whats up, if you want to go to ESPN than you will have to access the pda version of the site. you will still get the graphics and colors and stuff. the pda version of ESPN wont load up all the plug-ins such as flash and all the graphic intensive apps. thats causing your error.

tried this site, and all I get is a white screen, it acts like the page won't load. I can go to other sites through the meday net, and I can get to ESPN that way, I am just trying to find the best way to get better sports on my phone. I would love to find an auto refresh site for scores.
