How to Transfer Phone Contacts ... ???
I've got approx 500 contacts in Phone memory on my Nokia 6201 and 6230. I want to get the Synch and transfer my contacts from Nokia phone memory to Synch phone memory.
BUT - all my contacts won't fit on the SIM Card, at the store they say they can't transfer from memory-to-memory, Nokia software apparently won't talk to Samsung, and I'm sure not going to re-key all those contacts and / or BT them one at a time.
Any suggestions would be appreciated ...
Thnx

Find a store with a Cellbright UME device. Manufacture software of UI is not relevant.

on your nokia, do a move of 250 numbers from the phone to your SIM. Then copy all of the numbers on your SIM to your Sync. Put the SIM back into the Nokia phone, and move the rest onto it (which overwrites the existing numbers) and then copy those onto your Sync.

Thanks for the input. I thought about taking a whack at doing just that - then between some of the contacts having 2 - 4 numbers, plus e-mail, etc., I was pretty sure I was going to screw that up by losing count, what entry counted as "1" and what didn't, etc.
Thanks anyway ...

the email addresses wont copy, and the numbers will list as individual entries when copied to the card. You may have to do some rearranging on the Sync once they're copied on, but that's better than re-entering them all.
Has anyone else noticed that the newest SIMs can store two numbers per name?
