yea they went with the model numbers... I assume those names were pre launch. Alot of companies do that to make it harder for the 'outside world' to figure out what they are talking about.

Yeah, ie when movies use a fake name to throw off people from the actual title of their production. Like when George Lucas made people call Return of the Jedi, Blue Harvest, to throw people off.
