Cingular and the LG CU500
2. I received no accessories from Cingular.
3. I went to 4 Cingular stores. None have the USB cable, and you have to get the data card from a store like Target. This is to be able to interact with the computer to transfer pictures, games, and ring tones. Total price: around $60 plus tax.
4. No games came with the LG CU500 phone. NONE! I could not believe it! A "$300" phone with no games? The card n...

1. I was told the LG CU500 phone was a $300 phone. The Cingular store offered it to me at $159. I held off and kept coming back for a month until I got a "deal" of 2 phones for $100 plus tax. Imagine my surprise, when Best Buy offered the same phone for $49.99 and it came with accessories. I didn't get a DEAL from Cingular.
First question would be weather or not the phones were pre or post rebate at $100 or $49.99. Some locations post pre some post. If you payed $100 each and got a $50 mail in rebate on each then whats the complaint? You also would pay an additional $35 for each phone to get your sim card. All Bestbuy and Wallmart locations charge this fee.

"Have fun paying to get your music on your equipment with VZW. As for your data cable, why bother. Use the card reader you got for free after rebate."
I have 2 cingular phones and one verizon phone. I have 400 songs, and several tv shows and two movies on my VZW phone, and I haven't paid for any of them. I've been doing this since 2005, before the LG Cu500 came out. You just rip your own cd's, or convert music directly from ITUNES into mp3 format. People on here try to say that with VZW, you have to pay for your music. The truth is, VZW had music phones before Cingular, and not ITUNES phones with the 100 song limit. However, you can put your own music from cd's, itunes, or use VCAS...

yeh, the LG CU500, works the same way as the LG VX8100 for Verizon, which came out in July/August of 2005.

We have:
Music Bundles (cable, wired stereo headset)
Bluetooth Wireless Stereo Headsets (free after MIR btw)
512 MB, 1 GB and 2 GB Micro SD cards
Memory Card readers (in case you want the wireless headphones and don't need to buy the cable)
We also know how to use Cingular Video. Sounds like they did not even bother to show you how that worked. Pretty cool service.
Perhaps you just shopped at the wrong place.

Headphones
Software CD
Demo memory card.
Next time do some homework before actually pulling out the wallet, okey?
the media net is there for a reason, just like your precious verizon have the same thing like v cast if you want the phone at a good deal. i really hope you like your best buy purchase, cause no cingular store going to exchange it if you don't like the phone, only best buy can and their return policy sucks.
i hate customers like you, they always wanted the best they can get without paying what it can do. you didn't bother checking what accesories it came with, apparently you didn't even bother to compare phones, just prices.
do me a favor and stop posting dumb shopping t...
