How reliable is it to buy a phone online with service agreement from, lets say, letstalk.com?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Also what happens when you port over? Does it take long to get the phone?

They have cleaned up their act but you still run a risk of not getting their rebates. Their are a lot of stipulations. If you just want a good deal on the phone you are better off going to radio shack or trying to work a deal at a cingular store.

Be very careful buying phones online. There is no guarantee what kind of condition they are in and if they are unlocked. Also Cingular's policy does not allow us to activate phones that are not Cingular phones...even if it is an up to date, brand new, unlocked phone. Our managers are pretty good with matching or negotiating with walmart prices and such so come into a store...you'll be happier in the end!

Yeah I am just trying to find a Cingular 8525 for a better price, but I am seeing now that just isn't going to happen.
