How many text do you use?
Just curious on how many text messages people use each month? I personally use about 9,000 or so. Is this sad, or is this normal, to an extent?

Good Lord, your thumbs must be sore as hell...I might use 3-5 txt/month. I prefer to call people directly.

im gonna go with... yeah that is sad. I use about 2000 a month and I think that is too much sometimes. 9000 doesnt make any sense. thats 300 a day... 🤨

Im just tired of using the phone. Ive worked for Southwest Wireless, then Cingular, and now about to be ATT for 6 years and Ive gotten tired of using the phone. I use text cause its easy for me. I was wondering what the average usage was. Pretty clear, i take the cake on that one...

Well, I have my phone set to clear my texts each day. So every night at midnight, my phone auto clears the texts inbox and outbox... So far today, I have done 147 in/out. But its only 12:30 here, so I have a long time left to go during the day. It usually picks up after I get off. Ill jump from like 180 at about 5pm to about 290 - 310 by 11pm. Sad, I know, but I do other work... so I can justify it. 😎

I've known people with more, but not many. Usually they're the IMers, and sending "lol" on aim to 30 people 10 times a day can add up. So I wouldn't call it normal. Don't your fingers get sore?

I use zero. Nobody likes to text me any more...Text messaging was fun for all of us back in 2003 when it was still so new. But it is not as fun any more.

My fingers dont really get sore. I use the Nokia 6682 which by far is the easiest text messaging phone ever. I hate the QWERTY keyboard phones... its just to big and the T9 on phones is a wonder. Especially Nokia phones. I think they have the largest database of words on there.
I got a few "Merry Christmas" texts, but not many. I hate those things too. I mean, we know its Christmas, we know its going to be "merry", so why send the words "Merry Christmas" to everyone in your phonebook? Its beyond me!
