SWEEET!

I just got a call from one of the Cingular agents I applied with. They want to get me in there and get sellin as of Oct. 1st. Course this comes AFTER I've already found a medical assistant's job. Guess I'll weigh my options and go with the one I like the most/pays better.

I know it's an agent, so things will be different than with corporate, but does any one have any clue as to any perks Cingular offers agents, like discount plans, phone discounts, etc.?

They have a good employee line. Its 20 bucks a month. 1000 daytime, 1000 n/w. Unlimited GPRS. all you have to do is buy your phone.

I wish... Our Employee Rate Plans are free for 1000 Daytime min... You have to buy NW or M2M ($9.99 for 5,000 NW/$19.99 5,000 M2M)... You can also pull a Secondary 500 Minute plan also need to purchase NW & M2M($9.99 for 5,000 NW/$19.99 5,000 M2M)... FastFwd is free and RDAS is no longer free... all other features must be paid for... But you do recv 200 txt msgs... 5 MB of internet usage... and 200 MMS for free... 30% off of phones and accessories... Benefits are awesome!... Room for growth... Pay raises are sweet... Now I believe that Agents pay is slightly different than ours being commissioned and all... But still great company to work for.

Speck,

As an agent employee, how do you get a free 1000 minute plan with 1000 N&W? I too get the ANR plan, but like everyone else I pay $20, plus I added lockline insurance $3.99 and $9.99 for 1000 M2M. I guess different markets get different priced plans. In addition we get unlimited text messaging, instead of 200, and the standard 5MB of internet. Stange.....I figured all agents in the US were offered the same thing.

Goto the MyCingular portal and under the Human Resources section you'll see Employee Rate Plan... Fill out the form and it takes about 5-7 days...

NICE, I can definately deal with 1000 peak min. In fact I'll never use that much in a single month. Quick question though. Can I add unlimited N/W? Cause I use a LOT more than 1000 min. It'd also be nice to be able to put a second line on so I could talk to my gf for free....but that's not neccessary as I'm SURE I can get her family to switch to Cingular, after all Sprint's chargin 'em out the @$$ right now.

good, I'd hate to get slammed that hard. I use like 1500-3000 N/W min on average talkin to my family, friends, and gf. How bout that extra line? Would that be the standard $19.99 or $9.99? I'm imagining $19.99, but that would still put me under my current cell bill with a LOT more min. to show.

You can pull two ERP's that are free one being 1000 min and the second line being 500 min... both free... but you can only pull two ERP's no more

I'm sorry, I've not been around long enough to know....ERP's? I'm guessin Employee Rate Plans? I'd really just rather have it on the same plan, share the minutes. Keep in mind this is thru an agent, so would the second plan be any more expensive? and would we be able to take advantage of Free M2M?

Both the 1000 and the 500 are free... You can purchase 5,000 m2m for $19.99 per phone... And they cannot do the Family Talk "Share" thing.

I honestly believe the Employee Rate Plans are the same for everyone. I haven't heard of any local agents having a different ERP than mine.

WIL (Wisconsin, Illinois) market does $20 ARP lines that have 1000/1000, unlimited text. Anything else you have to bolt on. One of my reps uses it and has both MMS and WIXX packages on it, and pays less than $30. You can add the M2M on for if your GF has Cingular as well, but they only offer 1 ARP per rep. I just put myself on the GSMN 1250 with a $9.99 family talk line for my GF, and my bills are usually around $130, and being that I did 2000 text messages and 8000 minutes last month, I can't complain. (Damn conference calls)

Hey I'm back.....continued, COU is cingular official use it is different from the ERP employee rate plan. I have some friends that are in stores and get the COU and the ERP at the same time, on the COU it is basically so they can be reached at anytime anywhere by employees or customers but since CSRs don't need that we have the ERP
