Cingular, the carrier with the most dropped calls!!!

Its true. I never had such horrible experiences as with them. My old TDMA was awesome with AT&T. But I was forced to Cingular's damn GSM which drops all my calls. I am in Miami, so no excuse about the boondocks and cold spots. Its the worst Jerry, the worst.

Consumer Reports ranks cingluar once again the worse carrier with dropped calls and static being the problem.

1) Consumer reports only polled 40,000 of their own subscriber base (which works out to be only about 30-50 per market)and since they have recommended Verizon for the past several years (and never mention the second tier carriers) their findings are going to be incestuous and their conclusions predetermined to fit their own agenda. This makes them an unreliable source of information in this regard. They do ZERO research that can be considered objective. These studies are funded by someone.

2) The callers experience is going to vary market by market. In my market Verizon drops the most calls and has a background noise problem. T-Mobile has the highest network noise in my market as well as the smallest footprint.
