A cingular rep in College Station, told me that he thinks that they should get them in tommorow, now I am not sure if this is true, but he said that they already have all of the rebate info. I am waiting for the phone and am keeping my fingers crossed that the guy is right.

I just do not understand what is taking this phone so long to come out. When my friend first told me about it, I believe that it was supposed to come out in like May or early June and now we are talking about Oct. I am just so confused with what the deal is, and is it really worth all of these drama?

Nokia is usually pretty good about bringing products to market. They must be having some kind of problem with it.

So does that mean that I should not buy it, or that it will have major issues and problems with it?

With the long wait on the 6230, it seems better to get the 6620. It does everything the 6230 does (except FM radio) and is also a smart phone. Only issue is size.

Mac,

I agree with you 120% on the 6230 vs. 6620. Did you get the Nokia 3120, Lg1400, N-Gage QD, and Samsung E317 dummy phones? I find it strange that the 1400 isn't even on phoonescoop yet. Did August's pricing sheet have the 6230 listed? Mine did, and it has been on the rebate form all last month too. I am hoping that we should see the 6230 mid month.

I like the 6620, of course size is a factor, but I use to carry the big blue 3600!

Will,
Yeah i got in all the dummy phones. the 3120, it seems so small now. However, it will be a bit seller if it's priced right. The 6230 was on our August and now is cheaper on our September pricesheet. Yeah i didn't understand why the 1400 wasn't listed. I was looking at it and i think it's going to be one of the best LG phones we have had. UP to now, they have all sucked, the 1300 we haven't had any problems with though, so that goods. As long as they put decent talk times on them they will be okay. yeah a 3600 though is very light for it's size, the 6620 is a lot heavier to me. I got rid of my v600 this weekend and got a new 6200 until the 6230's come out. The 6200 though, i get a lot better reception with and also i get 5 time...
