dont count on it. at least not for a long while. the N95 that they are going to release will not have the WCDMA 850/1900 which means that it wont work on 3G networks in the US.
although, u would still be able to use it on GSM here. but at 700 bucks a pop, no thank you.
its slated to come out Q1 2007 for europe and asia. you might be able to buy it unlocked in the next 3 to 4 months
