Name change...
Who cares what the name of the company is? If you think you have a reason, you don't. Get over it.

allot of people care. Are they right to care. No. But that doesn't change anything. If you don't think a name in retail can make or break a sale then you are so wrong. Its like some people tell me I won't buy anything but a RCA TV. For all they know RCA TV's can be made from a 3rd party. But to them that is all they will buy. Why because they had a tv last forever and never had a problem with it and it happen to be an RCA. Its stupid but that is how allot of people buy things! My grandmother if she was still here is just like my dad. Hates the AT&T name. Will have nothing to do with it. And you telling her to get over it is like telling you after someone just attacked your wife mom or whoever you love to get over it. It isn't going to hap...

Thank you! Or, research! What features would you use, who do you call most, who has coverage, etc, would be great questions to look into. Instead, its "Oh, U.S. Cellular sponsors the White Sox, so I want their service." Makes me sick, both as a Sox fan and a sociology major.

Did I say it was right NO. I am sick of people not in touch with the world. Retail is based off word of mouth then anything else. It always has been. And bad experiences travel through more people then good. Its fact. More so then any research you can do on any company!

What? Of course you hear more about something than you actually research if you DON'T DO ANY RESEARCH!!!! I can research something and always find out more than I already know about it. I may hear a lot of opinions, but that is what they are, OPINIONS. Just because we hear more opinion than fact, does not mean that it is correct.

your missing the point completely. You are right!!!!! I can't say it enough. Your right right right! But people do not think like you and me. I hated sprint as a local CO and will never ever use them even if they changed to Embark now. That didn't stop me from getting them for cell. And I am glad I did. But about 70% (a guess but its high) don't do that. They go by what they hear. Public opinion is the strongest thing and it can even break a company!
