i got a d807 as a matter of fact i have 3.

the 1st one i purchased outright in early august 06.

the 2nd one came as a replacement to my w600i. it was either that or the L7 since there was nothing else comparable.

i am starting to hate the d807 with a passion so i grab my trusty s710a which i bought outright feb 06.

well this thing act worse than my 807 now.
so i called xbm only to argue with a gentleman that insisted if i processed an exchange i was getting an 807 👿 i begged did everything i could to get a different device from v3i to w810i.

what can i do about this? i AM NOT taking another d807.

On your 3rd warranty replacement on the same model you can request a different model of phone. But, usually they will only offer one comprable replacement they won't allow you to get whatever you want.

there was 2.

the 1st one was i owned the s710 then when it was discontinued they sent me a w600i. i wasnt that much of a fan so i re-purchased the s710 from a local corp store i have had it replaced once since (microphone failure).
it just so happens for the w600i that went white screen on me they sent a d807 to me and since then i've had a d807 replace my rokr too. so i am pretty tired of this phone.

the 2nd reason was i expressed to the lady i had sony ericsson everything. memory cards software and whatever else i could come up with. i also expressed the only reason i went back to the s710 was external memory. after the very nice lady reads the t's & c's she says you will be getting a se w600i. all of a sudden there is a pause.......

My S710 is totally out of warranty but is in good condition, they just ask you when you bought it right? They don't even go into detail about the 1 year if I remember correctly.

yea mine wasnt outta warranty because i bought mine in feb 06. but however i switch the imei on my account so much they cant tell exactly when i bought a phone. they lady that did my exchange said i had 8 pages of exchanges within since august of 2005.

i do know if that imei hasnt been changed for a while or since upgrade or since signing up they can tell when that phone was attached to the account.

i do miss the extended warranty though 😢

i gotta v551 that would of loved to sail to the sea's of the xbm warehouse.
