All you great reps out there, do you know if there are any special incentives/better plans either by changing to a family plan before or after the name change? Thanks!

You most likely will not see a difference. They will allow all Cingular customers to keep their plans but the new name will probably not change the rate plans. The only difference will be bundeled plans through AT&T for your wireless phone and internet service.

Thanks for your response. Another sales rep suggested that when the switch happened to AT&T, there may be some special family incentives. I have a single line and will be adding a second line soon - converting to a family plan, so am looking for my best plan.

I would wait so you can get phones with the AT&T logo on it!

Its cool each to his own I know it makes know difference. I guess I just never really cared for the name cingular so much that if it was me I would just wait for the name change.

No info on possible incentives. It would be better to sign up now so you know what your are getting into. If there is a better plan released by at&t you can always change to it as long as it is within the first year. However if you wait and rates go up you do not have the option of going backwards to an older plan.
