Just a name change, or is there more involved?
What's really going on here with Cingular / AT&T? Is this strictly a name change, or will there be changes in technology, phones, plans...etc? I'm switching from VZW to Cingular next month and I'd like to know what to expect.

name change only right now. Plans might change later, but you can always change your plan with no penalty or fee. The change also wont require you to get a new handset with the at&t brand.

As of right now I don't think anyone knows what to expect besides a name change. The only thing you can look forward too is the opportunity to bundle your home/cell phone as well as tv, and internet to ultimately save you money. Technology won't change, plans might hopefully you will be able to switch to those but no one knows for sure.
