Activation date?
NOW I find that the 'activation date' is the DAY I placed the order! The phones didn't arrive until 4 days later, then I took another 2 days to sort through all the paperwork.
I found this info buried in the welcome kit; and confirmed with Cingular that the activation date is the day you order service--I can understand that in the store when you get the phones and service immediately--but when ordering through the mail? Give me a break!

And SBC said I would get an additional $3 off my other (family talk) line. Now I'm going to have to double-check this info as it is probably incorrect! Sounds like it was 'anything to make a sale'.
That's how I got talked into ordering over the phone, to get the monthly discount. SBC explained I had to be pre-approved, and the only w...
