Upgrade phone advice please
It's time to upgrade my Cingular phones and I'm looking for advice from the group. Most important factors are reception quality, sound quality, and durability. I use the phone for talking and occasional text messaging. I don't really care about taking pictures or other features. I'm just looking for a good, well made phone that has above average reception as I am frequently working in low signal areas.

if u need just the bare minimum the Nokia 6030 offers just that at the free price tag
if u need alittle bit more
u can't go wrong with any samsung if the Nokia is no to your liking
anything beyond that only gets mediocre reception
steer away from Motorola because as a rep for cingular i have seen numerous problems for them and they drop the most calls let alone if u even get reception with one in a low to moderate area

i hate to give conflicting advice but i have seen to many people that have reception problems with samsung and i switch them to a nokia or a sony (or yes i am going to say it the razor) and the reception is much better.
