Seeking advice on choosing a carrier for Metro NY
Which carrier should we go with? We went to dealers today at ATT, Verizon and Cingular. Cingular seems to have the best deal, and Verizon seems to have the worst deal. Verizon deal is $60/month for only 400 local minutes; free nights (after 9 p.m.; free weekends); 1 yr contract; the phones seem lousier and more expensive. Any price reductions are in the form of rebates. I personally think rebates are a scam.
ATT plan is: for $70/month 1050 local minutes; unlimited nights free after 7 p.m., free weekends. 2-yr contract.
Didn't check out Sprint, and don't know anyone who has Sprint.
