I grabbed some Cingular brochures yesterday.
I figure, as a way to preserve the memory of the Cingular brand I'd grab some brochures. I wish I had the mind to do this when AT&T Wireless was rebranded in 2004.

Stephen Colbert of The Colbert Report (silent "t" on both) already has. He came up with some new company names and logos using the current Cingular name and logo, such as a restaurant named "nu garliC." He also went through the company's evolution from AT&T to at&t. 🙂

That was by far one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time when he did that segment. I'm so gunna find that on youtube and post it here.

i still have the 'Changing the Game' t-shirt they gave us when we took control of at&t wireless, still wrapped in the football package!

The new brochures will have the same plans only with AT&T (using the color orange to represent Cingular as the new AT&T--AT&T Merger Media Kit) most likely the same maps...and maybe a couple new plans.

My souvenier from AT&T wireless operates on both the GSM 850 & 1900 bands and is blue, of course. 😉
But y'know, everyday, when perusing ebay's thousands of listings of AT&T wireless brochures selling for hundreds apiece, I feel a little stab of regret inside. 😛
