I just purchased a Treo 680 from a Cingular store and it was on Wednesday night. On Friday I wore it to work to set it up and play with it. The screen cracked while in the Cingular leather case. I have owned several PDAs (m100,m105,m125,T-E, T-E2,650) and I have never seen a screen crack like this and those were all dropped at some point in their usage. there is a 30 day warranty
but if the screen is cracked they won't replace it .... its a physical problem not a defect or warranty problem

but even though it may have be an accident on your part i will help u in getting one back for almost no cost

hopefully u paid for it with a visa or credit card of sometype
and if u call visa and tell them cingular won't do anything for u about it ..... they will replace it for u for free most the time

call your credit card company and tell them about what is going on with your purchase and they should help u
