Any Assistant Managers out there
I'm currently with a competitor and am seriously considering applying for an assistant manager possition with cingular and am curious about what duties you have, what sort of pay structure you typically receive, also what are your working conditions like and how about benifits too. Extra points for anyone in eastern Nebraska that answers.

Corporate, I was thinking somewhere around the 35K range or does that sound too much?

I cleared almost 40K last year as an asm at Cingular; and that's w/out a lot of overtime.
my dad was an asm the year before and made over 80K w/ all the overtime he worked.
the benefits are excellent also & lots of vacation/paid time off, paid holidays.
duties range from merchandising, customer escalations, inventory, helping on the sales floor, daily deposits, etc.

Thanks alot i'm kinda skeptical about jumping ship since I'd have to drive an extra 50 miles a day but if you can make that much then I'd be more than willing. What kind of benifit's do you get (ie.. Health, Dental, vision, college, phones&plan rebates). Thanks again! 😁
