Cing on a whole

On a whole i've been very please with my Cing phone and the service. Coverage is good, up to date phones are cheap (even with the annoying branding and locking of features), customer service via phone is good even though they need a 24/7/365 center to help those who are night owls, some retail locations are honest which is a bonus in a sale based environment. I'd like to see some changes in their feature bundles/packages the unlimited mms and 5mb data and 1000 sms is kind of weird. why wouldn't i just picture message everyone instead of sending texts when i run out of the 1000 sounds like that package needs changed or i need some advice on a better package.

What locked features are you referring to? If you want to talk about locked features, don't even start with Cingular. I have over 20 phones from Cingular/ATTWS and everything they are capable of is unlocked... so cite some sources or give examples.

I don't know where your latest information comes from, but 1-800-331-0500 is now 24/7/365.

I am guessing he/she was referring to 611 - a number in which customer service option is not 24/7/365.. its not even 7 days a week!

the locked features on the w300i is you can't use full mp3's as ringtones you can't change certain shortcuts and you can't delete annoying picutres and ringtones branded into the phone

that must be new 1-800 number deal since i never heard of it

ya i only go online to check stuff and haven't seen any feature packages/bundles thats why i asked you guys what you thought

Ok, for starters the first thing is a dumb feature to want. WHy would you want to play a 3 minute song when a ring only lasts about 30 seconds max? Secondly, the images and tones that cannot be deleted take up MABER a couple hundred kB on the phone, so it's nothing you notice. And what shortcuts can you change on other phones that you cannot change ont he w300i?

Also, that 800 # has been around a LONG time. What 800 # do you usually call?

Lastly, all the feature bundles are online under Shop>Rate Plans>Data.

**Sorry, that was supposed to be spelled MAYBE, not MABER. I don't even know what maber is. 🤨

Why is that dumb? Why should I waste my time cutting up audio to fit the stupid limitation? Your phone will only ring for about 30 seconds but its a lot easier to just move the whole song untouched onto the phone.. But I think you can remove that limitation on the phone with the Sony Dev kit for the phone anyways..
