Unlike MrAbstracto and Hombre07 I can actually answer your question without resorting to immature posting:
AT&T will keep GSM and move forward to build and expand 3G services like UMTS HPSDA, etc.
TDMA is forever gone, the government has mandated that all TDMA and analog servies be shut down next year in order to free up spectrum for newer technology like 3G services.
Cingular and AT&T Wireless switched over to GSM 4-5 years ago.
I do miss TDMA because Cingular and AT&T Wireless had the Nokia 3560 TDMA color phone, which I LOVED AND I MISS IT SO!
