Sorry, have another question, my mom is the name on the bill but my name is on the account so that I can make changes/get information on the account. Cingular provides a discount to those at my place of employment-how to I go about and can I get this? If my name has to be on the account, how do I do this? I just wonder if they would need to pull my credit to put me on if my mom were to stay "the main" account holder? any ideas?

It has to be in your name. I went through this with them when I was thinking about getting them. From what I gather there is no secondary person on the account. I could be wrong. And I haven't asked this to them because I never got them but if they are like sprint you both can go to a store and they can run your credit and then if good enough you can take over responsibility of the account and she will be off it!

Just try it at www.cingular.com/discounts using your work e-mail.
If they give you a hard time about it, call the Transfer of Service Number and just get the account name changed.

ya usually you only get the discount for the primary account holder. authorized user are only allowed to make changes and uprgrade. so you would have to get the account in your name.
