Cingular gets all AT&T?
I have a cousin in WV (zip 25177) who is currently with AT&T, but when I sent her the referral program offer, she said her zip was NOT in Cingular's coverage area.
Will that change with the acquisition? She was really interested in the rollover minutes. I think she has a family share/talk plan.
Any advice to give her on any offers that may come her way to switch to Cingular?

W/ the merger we will acquire an insane number of tower from AT&T... it will not be ALL their towers since some have already been purchased or are being used for other means... For the most part we should be getting about 90% of ATTWS towers... and we wil recv coverage in ALOT of areas... I haven't heard specifics about WV it looks very hopeful for them... since we will definitely supply phoenix, AZ... Denver, CO and several markets we currently have little to no coverage... We are expected to supply service in between 97-100 out of the 100 major markets... It will be nice... very very nice... ;)

So, I guess my cousin just needs to keep checking?
Or will Cingular send her something and make an offer to switch from AT&T?

ATTWS customers post merger will have three options as it stands now:
1. Continue on their existing plan
2. Migrate to a Cingular plan
3. Choose a plan from a special set of 'Common Service Experience' plans TBA.

Well, I'll be here less frequently pretty soon... taking a different position in the company, so I won't have the time. But I'll stop by to harrass you guys 😁
