Yeah, the 6102 forum has been dead for months...and I know this phone has been discontinued by Cingular...and I'm not eligible for an upgrade until June. Warranty has expired, but I do have insurance on the phone.

Anyway, here's my problem. It just started recently. The other day I was trying to make a call, opened the flip and the screen blanked out white, then came back and had a message on it that said I had an "Invalid SIM". Then it flashed and said to "Insert SIM". then it flashed again and turned itself off and back on (I didn't touch it) and when it came back on it was back to normal.

If you have insurance you'd receive a 6102i. It's pretty much the same phone with the addition of bluetooth. It's still available (but is likely going to be dropped soon when a new model becomes available).

Thanks...that will work fine. It should at least get me by until I become eligible for an upgrade.

Any suggestions on what the best (and affordable) bluetooth headset would be? I've looked at Moto H500, H700, Jabra JX10, or anything else you might suggest...but I'm new to the whole bluetooth thing and don't know enough to discern between them all. My g/f has been looking for one for a few days now...
Thanks!

I use the H700. It's small and compact and it looks better than anything out right now. I've had it for a while now and haven't had any problems with it.
