Question for Cingular Reps

Cingular let me out of my contracts over a year ago since they reduced the quality of their coverage in my area. Now the coverage is back to normal so I tried to port back my two numbers, but the Cingular website telling me that they’re illegible for porting.

Does anyone know why? I’d rather do the porting on the website to take advantage of web deals.

Thanks,

web deals are nice but porting throu the net is a PAIN! you can try to do some stores that match online deals since your technicly a new customer (cause you cancelled and coming back). store have a MUCH easier time to port, and if it's illegible they can call customer service to find out why and how to fix it.

Remember the ol' saying for online shopping for phones "it's the self service price"

More information is needed here. Best bet is to visit the store. Online pricing is for those who need little or no help with their transaction. You, my friend, obviously need help. Take our suggestion, porting online is a MESS.
