Dumbest Customer EVER
Question about using Aol Instant Messenger...
only Seven days testing and I'm quiting Cingular
I went to Cingular and in seven days have found that they have no customer service. They are all about getting the contract and that's it.
I attempted to find out why my bill has an adding error in their favor by using their web site. FAQs did not help, I tried to e-mail them. The web site has a circular menu system that never took me to a place to e-mail. It always took me to a log-in despite I was logged in (maybe 5 times-how dumb can I get).
I finally contacted a human (not on a menu - press zero to talk to someone). The human was less use than a rock. Not empowered to look into anything, not knowledgeable (blamed everything on IT or "the system must be being updated") and did not care. She refused to enter the co...

Question About Rate Plan
The rep at the store said i will not incur roaming fees since it is a national plan. Does this mean I can roam on another US carrier without incurring fees?

To the dealer--stop being lazy and do your job right the first time--I'm tired of getting those calls about the first months bill. Also, stop telling customers that Roadside has to come with there plans, b/c it doesnt--you just want that commision--I report all dealer/agents that do that.

I work in a Company Owned Retail store. Yesterday I was setting up a customer with Two Rzr's, I have a number in the store, but the two that I picked asked for a subsidy unlocked code. Now this seems odd to me that a cingular phone with a cingular chip is asking for an unlock code so I call tech support to get them unlocked. The first person I talk to tells me that all phones for the east coast are completely locked (Is this true?). After a bit of coaxing I get a knowledgable rep that proceeds to tell me that in order to unlock the phone we have to sell at which point I tell himhey we can't sell it unless it's unlocked. Has anyone else had this issue come up in your stores?
