Blackberry 7100g

Do you guys have a lot of people who have problems with these phones? I'm eligible to upgrade in about a week and a half and was thinking about going with the Blackberry 7100g but wanted to see what kind of calls you guys were getting regarding them before I spent all of the money.

Also, this is not a gripe but I am probably going to end up buying it online because it's 249 with a 50 dollar rebate whereas the store I went to last night said 549 with a 100 dollar rebate.

I'm going from a Siemens S56 which I only got because it was the only Bluetooth phone available at the time.

So my second question is this. My rate plan is entirely up on May 7th, but I can renew on April 7th. If the 50 MIR is up at the end of March, does it do me...

Calling trouble to Mexico

This is just a heads up post. As usual, we get a call from Mexico and hang up and call back since we get the better rate. So we call back on Cingular, we hear ringing as usual, but no answer. Tried twice. Then used our ATTWS TDMA and got through 1st attempt with no problem. Called party confirmed no prior rings before answering our TDMA call. Just thought someone might want to know in case they're getting (RNA) ring no answer responses.

The call was to Piedras Negras, Mexico, which is across the border from Eagle Pass, Texas.

SunCom phonescoop question

Why doesn't phonescoop list SunCom as a Carrier?

And why don't they have a forum?
I'd love to talk to some suncom reps because I take NC and SC ATTWS divested call sometimes.

Question for the reps.

Has anybody ever heard of viewmymessage.com??? My wife got a MMS from her brother that told her to go to this site. HE said he never sent it. So I went. It was a pic from him that she said he sent it to her before.

Cingular phone that sync well???

Got a question synchronization.

I'd like to move to Cingular because my company discounts their plans and equipment. I'd like a clam shell that I can easily slip into my pocket. But here's the kicker. I would like to synchronize my contacts and calendar from outlook to my cell phone. Can anyone suggest the best cingular phones to do this. Don't worry about the price, just rank the top 3 or so phones that can do this.

I suppose I could be talked out of a clamshell so if there's a good non-clamshell out there, let me know.

As far as cameras or ringtones or style, I don't care either way.

One reason I'm asking is that my Samsung E715 seemed to be a phone that synchs but it turned out it didn't really do it so good. Could only put 2...

Is it me or Cingular?

Hi,

I have a new sx66 PDA and boy is it slick. Unfortunately, cingular has no clue what the data plans really are. When I bought it from a Cingular store I had a 5mb data plan for 19.99/mo. When I called coustomer service because the data didn't work they told me I should be on a MediaNet unlimited service for 24.99/mo. I changed to that. My online account never shanged so I called back to coustomer service. They told me I couldn't be on the MediaNet plan and that the only plans available were 29.99 for 5mb of data or 39.99 unlimited. I tried to explain to them that this isn't what their web page says but they wouldn't listen.

Does anyone know what the real data plans are? Cingular doesn't seem to have a clue.

Question about refunds

If someone just recently upgrades, and within 15 days, decides he does not want the phone, nor does he want to commit for another 2 years, can he just bring his phone back with receipt and be done with it?

New To The GSM War - Cingular or TMobile

Now that Cingular has service in my area(southeastern Virginia), I have a choice to make. TMobile is available in my area as well. Sprint is not an option(poor customer service) and neither is Verizon(high security deposit and weak signal at my house). TMobile only has a $75 dollar security deposit and has a good signal at my house. Cingular is only asking for a $150 security deposit. I do not have to have a high end phone. I just want one that gets a good signal where I live and has good sound quality. $200 is the most I am willing to spend on a phone and $65 a month is the most I am willing to spend on service. Which carrier can offer me the most in the above price ranges? Which carrier has the best features and best customer servi...

data plans vs Media Net What's the difference?

What's the difference between "data" plans and MediaNet plans? With the treo 650 what are my options? I'm more interested in text messaging and being able to check the weather and have the ability to occasionally check my email thru Webmail.

Online Orders

If your a customer, or wanting to set up a new service. My advice would to be not to go online and do it. Too many problems can occur with this. Your best bet is going to be going to a store or calling telesales!

After Hours

I like them and I don't.

I like them because calls are slower and usually easier to deal with.

I don't because there are some issues that I can fix but am not allowed to make the changes to fix it. I HATE THAT!!!!!
