Mixed feelings
The employee hostility is what alarms me. I know that employee just want to convey the information they have. That want it to be accurate & to the point. But sometimes, they come off as extremely rude. I know that by saying this, I am sure to get a few responses similar to "If you donβt like the heat, stay out of the kitchen" or something even snappier.

Moving Number from One Account to Another ...
When I got my phone for account "B" (about a year ago) Cingular said that I could later move the number (from "A") with no problem. Now they say I can't - there's been a policy change.
Anyone know a way around this? The phone number on Account "A" is my "main" cell number and I don't want to go through the mess of having to notify all my business and personal contacts of a new number.

Well the e-mail that we received today states the contract is a "service agreement" in the legal definition providing month to month billable airtime service.It said that that by renewing the contract DOES NOT GUARENTEE keeping the plan they are on for 2 years, just they have to stay on service for 2 years, since the renewal is for discounted equipment or or anything non promotional related"
It also goes on to state that the company can change or alter your plan, with 30 days advanc...

I just had a customer come in and expect to be able to add an additional line to his service plan without paying ANYTHING! I mean he expected to not pay for the phone, activation, OR monthly service charges. His reasons were "I've been a loyal customer for 2 years and I don't think you should penalize me for giving you another customer." So you expect FREE service??? I'm an agent, I sell the damn things and I don't even get free service!!! So his reply is "well I guess I'll just have to go somewhere else then." I then had to go into a lengthy explanation about how EVERY carrier makes you pay a service charge for each line per month (which wasn't easy considering I have laryngitis at the momen...
