I've got a question. I have a V400 and keep having dropped calls. I've had some reception problems in my area in the past, usually things are great, but every now and then, it's horrible. I've been getting a lot of dropped calls and earlier, I had 4 within 2 hours. I've told Cingular about this and they send out an update and tell me to shock the phone by removing the battery while it's on. I did that yesterday, before the 4 droppped calls. In the past, I was picking up signal from a tower that was about 6 hours south of me, and no one knows why. Another funny thing that happened was that I called 611 and got T-Mobile's help desk. Maybe I was using their tower, but I was at home where I've called Cingular's help desk from before. I ...

Can anyone give me the 411 on the merger/acquistion of Suncomm by Cingular?

My contract ends in June. Do any of you guy think that Cingular will try to offer me any special deals on service or phone. Just Curious Anyone that has any input. Thanks

SBC bought AT@T so in a few months you will be, no matter what, a cingular customer.

And then AT@T agreed to cell pay per use cell phones on the sprint network before the merger now AT@T head honchos say

*We might not have a problem selling services thru cingular*

Is that not breach of contract if there was one signed.

Does anyone expect a big AT&T Wireless Confusion Nightmare that will happen late next month when we can't use the AT&T Wireless name on our phones, stores, bills, etc and have to give the name back to AT&T? Don't you guys think this will confuse the heck out of our old blue customers and will they have to force to migrate to Cingular phones and plans? Plus when AT&T gets the name back won't they start their own wireless company like a New AT&T Wireless? Won't a lot of old blue customer want to leave Cingular and go to the New AT&T Wireless thinking it's the same of the old AT&T Wireless but it's not? This is gonna be fun and interesting for all us reps, huh?

Now that Cingular will have to give back the ATTWS brand, name etc etc...
