How the hell can someone not know their own damn cellphone number? I get a real kick out of it when someone comes into my store and asks me to look up their account. I ask them for their cell phone number and they draw a complete blank.

I had charges show up on my account from mBlox. THis is from jamster. My friend joined one of the other companies similar to Jamster & it was charged to his account. We called each company to cancel their program & they said we had to fax a request to the UK or send a text message to 35555/72222.

To make matters worse: this is his only phone, and he had a ton of numbers stored on it.

Let's say the phone is ruined, but the SIM is ok. If he puts the SIM card into another GSM phone, will the stored numbers be there? Or are they not stored on the SIM?

This is comming straight from my Motorola rep who is over the Dallas and Houston markets. Again, as we all know, things vary from market to market. All I have to say is WTF?!? I wouldn't plan on seeing it on the 20th. I bet we will see it next month if at all.

Ok, help me out here. UMTS(WCDMA) and HSDPA are being released by Cingular by 2006ish. So, does the WCDMA have anything to do with or allow roaming onto CDMA networks...or are they in no way connected? Or is it just for data? So when a phone says:
GSM 800/GSM 1900/WCDMA 1900, then the WCDMA is for voice or just data or a seperate band or what? Europe uses the 2100 band right? I know that it is supposed to be capable of higher data speeds or is that just the HSDPA part? As you can see, I am very confused on what exactly it is. Clarification would be great...Thanks.

As a customer it's nice to see the rep's finally getting along.Maybe there is still hope for this company.It's true I'am an Att customer who won't migrate yet and join the fold.I still have a great plan with the former owners and it's to hard to pass up.But it is nice to come in here and read what the future hold when I do move over. For a while now it look pretty bleak with the constant bickering and one upmanship.I think it come full circle.It seems like some one cleaned house and got rid of the nay sayer who gave the wrong info or had swelled heads I think they still lurk abut due to some post sound like the previous people with a new name but they are claimer now so we'll see. My Z500 has PTT capabilities... will I be able to use that capability on my phone when Cinguar finally releases their Push to Talk service??

I want to get the headset that makes the FM radio work on my 6230, but I have read that not all of them work. Which one do I need to get (Shay might ask you this for me)?

Also, as far as the MMC cards for the 6230, can I use SD cards too since they are interchangable in most devices, or just MMC? I have read posts that say only MMC and I have read others that say both are able to be used. Which one is correct?
