Does anyone else work 9 or 11 hours shifts without breaks or 40+ hours with no overtime pay, or how about personal commission quotas that are higher than what the whole store sells?

(just wondering if I am alone in this biz)

p.s. or how about selling returned phones to customers as if they are brand new?

I just got a motorola v551 and I really want to get a bluetooth headset for it..Any advice on which one I should get ? Doesnt have to be one that I listed earlier.

I have a motorola V551 EDGE capable phone. from what i've been told EDGE is already available in all Cingular markets so why doesnt seem like when i'm browsing medianet it seems so slow.

Wow, what a journey we've had waiting on this dang blasted phone to come out! I see many of you have made it to the other side, and purchased the SE S710a. Thank Him for blessing you with the extra funds to purchase a new toy! I, on the other hand, did not have the extra funds to purchase the phone...well, actually I did, but the money can be spent better somewhere else. I went from the Moto v400 to the Nokia 6620. I'm crazy about the phone! Great themes, a nice camera (especially considering it's not a 1.3 mp), fits well in my hand...well, it's a great alternative!

If I go and sign up with Blue now via a web seller, will my phone work throughout Cingular's network, or only on some ATT areas?

I'm talking about a GSM 850/1900 phone.

Shouldn't any GSM phone run on both networks the same, or is there some coverage difference if you buy an ATT GSM phone?

I work in a blue call center and friday there was the chick passing out propaganda from the Cingular union. The way it was worded, (but not in these words) it was saying how getting paid less wouldnt mean anything if we arent covered by a union....I dont know about any of you, but I enjoy my starting pay of 12/hour. I would not want to go down in pay for the sake of a union. (I need that to survive!) Now while being in a union is definity helpful, you know with job sercurity and all, I dont know if that would fly in the call center I am in--with less pay....am I right or am I totally off based? MY phone freezes on me and the only thing i can do is press the menu button and thats thats the only thing that will respond. After calling CS and working with them now my problem is it freezes and when it works(which is only sometimes)I can only acces my different programs by pressing the up arrow on my keypad.(which also works sometimes)so now I dont know what to do anybody have any suggestions as to what actions I should take?

I have spoken to two different rep's tonight about getting my Xpress Mail going. No one has helped and I still have not received an e-mail with instructions. I try to register on my phone using my name, password and mobile number and get an error indicating the name/password is not correct. Can anyone help?

What's up with the a630? Is it ever going to launch or will it be completely dropped? In the history of cingular has any phone that had been advertised not ended up launching?

im looking for a new phone from cingular and i can spend around 175 tops. Should i get the motorola v551 or the Samsung e317. Someone tell me if there are any other cingular phones in the price range that are good.

Has anyone had to deal with that stupid system while warm transfering someone to customer care or some other area? "Please say what you're calling about...I'm sorry we're having some problems understanding each other" Oh how irritating! And when you try to go through cingular's system, you get someone faster, but then you have to go through 100 reps when you're transfered a billion and one times to find the right market and the right department. If I was a customer I would probably be angry even before I talked to someone!

I love this forum but the former BlueGuy (who is now Mr. PIR and bluerguy) as well as Grantizzle are making things extremely difficult for us to learn, share info, and have a good forum. They make sexually degrading comments to a female Cingular rep on here, and basically see how much crap they can stir up on here, and it really takes away from what this forum was intended to do. Please make these people go away permanently if possible, or at least get them to act in a respectable manner. I am sure many here would appreciate it very much.

Is the 1800 band the same as the 850 i eman will it work on the cingular network?

Did anyone get told while in training to send customers to phonescoop rather than to the cingular website? We were told to send them here avoid problems with web pricing, since we can't honor it. (well, now we can since we're the web promotion department)

Well since we were told to send people here, we were premitted to look over this website when ever to get familar with it. Well I discovered the forums, and now this is my entertainment between calls. Does anyone else do this?

I'm trying to figure out what's the best one...
