i have a question should i buy the v400 or hold off intill the v600 caomes out and purchase that phone. ur opinions will be appreciated greatly thanks. Is it true the v600 is going to be offered by cingular in a few months?

Has anyone heard about a recall on the Nokia 6340i? A friend told me that Cingular had a recall on them but I haven't actually checked into it. I wonder if it's the problem I've had with the phone. Sometimes it will just randomly turn itself off while I'm on the phone and then turn itself on. I'm not the only one that has complained about that. I know several people that have had the same problem.

Called my local Cingular store today and asked the salesperson how much the v400 was with 1 year activation/new service...He said $249 minus $50 rebate....That seems VERY steep to me.....I've read posts where some cingular stores are selling v400s for under $100....what's going on?

I am currently with ATTWS and might be interested in switching to cingular. I live on log island, ny but currently go to shcool in Buffalo, NY. I am not sure which carrier to switch to. I am in favor of the GSM over Verizon and Sprint. Is GSM better than cdma? Also cingular or tmobile. One more thing...cna someone please commnet on cingular as a whole (ie phones, reception, cust service, etc.)

I am thinking of switching to cingular and have a question. I borrowed my friends nokia 3595 phone for a few days to make sure I get signal in the areas I need and i do. I currently have the nation 400 plan with rollover and my dad has the old nation 250 plan. I'm sort of frustrated that there is no family talk plan for the nation plans. I am thinking about moving to the preferred nation plan so that we can go to a family talk plan so we pay less money. Does anyone have any complaints with the preferred nation plans? I've checked the coverage maps and it seems to be pretty much everywhere we go in Louisiana and Texas, but is there something else that I should know? I talked to Cingular customer service and they told me that the phone must say Cingular and NOT Cingular Extend, however, the map shows areas that I normally go into that would be Cingular Extend. This was started to help everyone who wants to get the v400. If u seen the v400 in your cingular store thin reply a tell what city u saw it in. I live in San Francisco and they keep telling me they will get the v400 in next month which suckes.
