Pantech Duo Texting
I just recently got the pantech duo and i was wondering if anyone knew how to turn on the predictive text when text messaging. i know you can use the qwerty key board but when i want to use the regular key pad is there anyway to make predictive text permanent?

When the unlocked HTC Touch Pro becomes available, I want to buy one! Does anybody know if unlocked HTC Smartphones will automatically detect network settings for MediaNet and MMS's? Please let me know. I have an unlocked N95-3 and it detected network settings just fine

Blackberry Help
Ok so i downloaded the 4.5 os beta for my blackberry. Now everything is working great except my att navigator does not let me log in it just says navigator not available. anyone experience this problem yet? just wondering if there is a setting or something i messed up maybe. other than that the 4.5 os is awsome.
Phone pricing... how much different in store versis the online store

Hidden Text Plans (Att Employee Please)
I was hoping that someone who currently works at at&t could help me out. I was just wondering if there is a texting plan in between the 200 and 1500 in the POS system or w/e its called now.

Is there any truth to the Samsung Omnia coming to ATT?
It would be absolutly shocking if the day ever, ever existed in the real world that ATT actually had a 5mp cameraphone, it seems like they go out of they're way on purpose not to carry REAL cameraphones!!!

? about an unlocked HTC Touch Pro/MediaNet & MMS settings
Do unlocked HTC smartphones detect network settings for inernet, MediaNet, and MMS's, I have an unlocked Nokia N95-3 and it detected network settings just fine w/o me having to enter anything, just put my SIM in for the first time and all set.
I'm really, really looking forward to the HTC Touch Pro coming out, and I'm not interested in being forced to pay a stupid PDA data plan of $30/mo when if I get it unlocked I can pay $15/mo for unlimited MediaNet.
Yeah, I'm liking what I read about the Touch Pro, the VGA screen the more memory, that TouchFLO stuff is cool, probably September I'm guessing it'll be available on simoncells.com, just a guess. Hope it won't be too, too much $$$!!!

Gas and Phone Bills = Food for thought.
I was sitting here at my desk at work a few minutes ago when my mind started racing about Gas Prices and Inflation and other things that we have to economically adjust to in times of economic sluggishness.
And I wondered... what does the cell phone industry have to offer at this time?
I have a point I swear.
You see the high gas prices were bound appear in this country. They have been present in Europe for years and years, and since OPEC has all the highest producing oil countries as members, and managerially speaking, couldn't manage anything production wise if it came with a speak and spell manual, we will always have high oil prices.
The shortages that happened in the 70's (twice I might add) was due to the failures of relying...

Retention department packages/suggestions?

Current service:
2 lines. Been with ATT 4 years now. Paid on time. Have not upgraded or changed anything in 4 years. 1,250 anytime mins + 7 pm night and weekends. USED to have FREE incoming TXT, now 20 cents a piece - which is one reason I am looking to change plans!
HELP NEEDED: What retention plans are available?
I need early night and weekend, and messaging. However on current ATT plans, it would bump me $17 + $30 for messaging = $47 (i do get a tad more for that money).
***Before I call cancellation dept, what do I need to know about available plans AND any specific ways to approach the rep?****

Problem w/downloading Ring Tone
I wanted to download a ringtone off the AT&T site but the phone I have isn't on their list so I was told I coudln't do it. Anyway around this? I thought a ringtone was good on any phone. Why so proprietary?

If I purchased an iPhone on 9/07 but it's not on my account now?
Will I get the discounted pricing? I even have my receipt still! If anyone knows this information I'd love to hear it.
Will AT&T Match My Discounts From Sprint?
I'm a current Sprint user, and I get 25% off my monthly bill because of some corporate agreement with the company I work for.
Will AT&T be able to match this? I'm paying nearly $200/month, and if I go with AT&T, the plans are going to be about $200/month also, but with this discount, I'm saving close to $50/month, which is enough to make me stay with Sprint (and not have an iPhone).
