T-Mobile in Charlotte
Hey!
I just have a quick question and I am hoping that someone can help me. I currently live in the Williamsburg area of Virginia (South Eastern VA) and have T-Mobile as my cell phone service provider. I have a Razor and am thinking about switching to a Blackberry Pearl. The only problem is that I will be moving to Charlotte, NC in about a month and want to be sure that T-Mobile is as good down there as it is in VA before I switch phones again. I also want to make sure that the Blackberry Pearl is a good phone to get. Please feel free to respond with any advice or insight. Thanks!

However I should have also stated many of Marines I know here in NC still keep Tmobile as they have free roaming and no one that I know of has been told they roam to much.

T-Mobile will roam here in Charlotte, but keep in mind there is nowhere for you to walk into a T-Mobile store for anything.

T-Mobile uses SunCom as a roaming parter in NC and SC, in many places SunCom has very good service; they have a regional office in Charlotte so you know its got to be good there ;-)
But there are no T-Mobile stores, you will have to do everything with your account over the phone or internet and T-Mobile does not offer numbers with a 704 area code.

But t-mobile recently purchased spectrum in NC and SC so there is a possibility they might serve the carolinas in the near future. My dream is that they buy out suncom and start buidling the network out over there and plant 3g spectrum.
