Is T-Mobile the underdog?
I would think so.
I've been reading about the major wireless carriers for years now.
T-mo is slowly making its move. I can foree T-mo doing a business model and a rapid expansion that could possibly overtake VZW and Cingular.
VZW's big concern is to keep #1 spot away from Cingular.
Cingulars big concern is to take #1 spot away from VZW.
I don't think that anyone has watched T-mobile enough. Their rate plans are incredible. Their coverage, while small, is pretty solid.
Granted after a few shaky starts as Omnipoint and Voicestream.. I do believe T-mobile will become a major MAJOR competetor to VZW and cingular. Not only just for subscribers but for coverage map.

I work for the company and we love being the underdog and we love the fact that most think we are. Hence the story of the tortoise and the hare.

so how big will t-mobile with be with its edge in relation to verizon, sprint, cingular, att, and nextel??

dont have to worry about ATT because they are sold already :-P......edge is slower then the 1x CDMA stuff, UMTS is not though, i have no clue whatsoever when or if Tmobile plans on releasing UMTS
