Unlocking T-MO phones

I am a new T-Mo customer with a v600. When I was purchasing the phones, I was told that T-Mo would give me an unlock code after 3 months of being with T-Mo. Is this true? I am asking because I travel Internationally and would love to just drop in a pre-paid SIM.

🙂 Yes, it is... 90 days from activation, and you can request the unlock code. 😁

All you have to do is call 611 and ask, but...90 days with no suspensions or partial suspensions for non payment and you're set. Depending on what phone you have, give it at least 7 days to get the code. They do it for free, but you can pay and get them from online services.
